Yoga is an excellent way for children to develop concentration, stimulate creativity, build self-awareness and balance emotions.

Yoga classes for children are held each week at Cheadle Fitness Centre Stockport (behind the village hotel) The classes are on Wednesdays 4.30-5pm 4-8 years 5.15-6.15pm 8-16 years
Classes for younger children are play based and usually consist of
breathwork, short movement sequences like salute to the sun and body awareness.
In the older class more attention is given to working with classical
yoga postures and why we do them.
